In a few words, the music of Rafał Janiak perfectly captures

the essence of his creativity.

As a composer of dozens of works written for various performing ensembles – from solo and chamber to symphonic, vocal-instrumental, and incorporating electronic media – his music has been recognized with numerous awards

and distinctions, attracting outstanding artists to perform it.

Some of the accolades include: First Prize at the Jan Paweł II Composition Competition in Warsaw (2007), Third Prize at the International "Musica Sacra" Composition Competition in Częstochowa (2008), and honorable mentions at the 51st Tadeusz Baird National Competition for Young Composers in Warsaw (2010). Notably, he also won the opera composition competition organized by the Grand Theatre in Łódź in 2019. Under the chairmanship of Prof. Krzysztof Penderecki, the jury unanimously awarded him the Grand Prix, and he also received the Audience Award. The premiere of his opera "The Man from the Manufactory" took place in February 2019, with its outdoor version in May 2019 at the Łódź Włókniarek Market being an unprecedented event.

Among many orchestras, Rafał Janiak's compositions have been performed

by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio in Katowice, the Polish Radio Orchestra, and the Krakow Philharmonic.
